Job title : Project Administrator

Location : Manchester (Hybrid working - 3 days per week in office)

Contract length : 9 months

Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently seeking a Project Officer to join an exciting energy organisation. This is a crucial resource for the entire business, supporting various functions and projects as demand requires.

More than just a standard administrative position, this role involves substantial project-focused work, offering a diverse and reactive day-to-day experience where no two days are the same. You will be instrumental in ensuring project teams and Directors have everything they need to succeed. Initially, you will support two existing Project Officers across their projects, with the opportunity for your responsibilities to grow as you gain experience and training. Some of the duties will include :

  • Providing comprehensive clerical, administrative and business support to various teams and functions
  • Supporting project milestones across different functions and projects
  • Assisting in the establishment of project sites and providing direct support to on‑site project teams
  • Organizing meetings, workshops and managing travel arrangements at the site level
  • Ordering necessary supplies and resources for project sites
  • Ensuring project teams and directors are equipped with all required resources and support
  • Supporting the engineering department with bids and tenders
  • Demonstrating the flexibility to move across different projects and functions based on demand
Required experience
  • Exceptional organizational skills, excellent planning abilities and strong self-discipline
  • A positive, proactive, agile and flexible approach, capable of adapting to competing and often‑changing requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Minimum proficiency in administrative tasks and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
