Job description

Our client, a leading manufacturer to the Oil and Gas/ Power Generation sectors are looking to recruit a Project Coordinator to join the business near Irvine on a permanent basis due to continued growth.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a project admin/ project coordination type role ideally within an engineering/ manufacturing environment

Candidates will be required to support the Projects team in providing general support to projects including administrative, coordination and expediting tasks.

We are looking for a driven and passionate candidate is looking to take the next step in their career with a progressive employer.

Hours - 07:30 - 16:30 Monday - Thursday and 07:30 - 12:30 on Friday

This role is available for an immediate start and full time in the office.

Responsibilities
  • The Project Coordinator is to implement an effective project launch, while liaising closely with Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing and Quality departments to ensure that all delivery and quality criteria have been assessed.
  • Evaluate and initiate any necessary changes in the department to meet and exceed the needs of the business.
  • Update and maintain Company and Customer reporting systems
  • Support the department with all project administration tasks in order to ensure the requirements of our customers and company are met
  • A willing attitude to assist in other areas of the business if required
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in projects environment as an administrator/ Coordinator
  • Ideally experienced working in a manufacturing/ engineering environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage work pressure
