Job summary

Galent Recruitment is seeking a commercially focused Project Accountant to support a portfolio of major capital projects within a rapidly growing renewable energy platform. The role covers the full project lifecycle from development to operation, with exposure to finance and project delivery teams across the UK.

The ideal candidate will be ACCA/CIMA qualified or part-qualified, with strong project and management accounting experience, advanced Excel skills, ERP experience, and excellent

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA, or equivalent experience.
• Experience within construction, infrastructure, engineering, energy or renewable sectors.
• Strong project accounting and management accounting experience.
• Experience supporting long-term capital projects.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Commercially minded with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Preparing weekly and monthly project financial reports.
• Supporting project accounting, cost control and capital expenditure reporting.
• Producing management accounts, budgets and forecasts.
• Monitoring project costs and analysing financial performance.
• Supporting asset accounting and inventory controls.
• Preparing cashflow reporting and management information.
• Partnering with project managers, engineers and operational teams.
• Supporting year-end reporting, audits and statutory compliance activities.
• Producing dashboards and financial reporting for key stakeholders.
