They are seeking a Project Accountant on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to support key business projects, ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong control across all activities.

As a Project Accountant, you will:
  • Partner with project managers to track budgets, forecasts, and actual spend
  • Provide insightful financial analysis and commentary on project performance
  • Support month‑end reporting, accruals, and reconciliations for project costs
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
  • Contribute to business cases, investment appraisals, and post‑project reviews
  • Drive process improvements and support wider finance transformation initiatives
As a Project Accountant, you will need:
  • Proven experience in management or project accounting
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills, with the ability to interpret financial data
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with non‑finance stakeholders
  • A proactive and organised approach, with strong attention to detail
  • Part or fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or qualified by experience
