Job summary

Axon Moore is exclusively partnering with a high growth, PE backed business to appoint a Project Accountant. The role is suited to an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant who wants to move beyond routine month-end tasks into a varied, project-led and value-adding position.

You will act as a finance all-rounder across the Group, supporting acquisitions, integration, financial controls and business transformation projects, and you will partner with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, IT and HR.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA or ACCA with UK or international experience.
• Technically minded accountant transitioning from month-end to project-led work.
• Strong communication and collaboration across functions.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly close and prepare financial information for Board meetings.
• Assist Group FC with financial controls across the Group.
• Standardise Group-wide processes and reporting, including post-acquisition integration.
• Support treasury activities: payments, corporate cards, expenses.
• Assist with VAT, Corporation Tax, PAYE, PSA and P11Ds compliance.
• Monitor divisional compliance with accounting standards and policies.
• Support adoption of new accounting standards across the Group.
• Contribute to ad hoc finance projects including acquisitions and integration.
• Drive continuous improvement across processes and controls.
