We are looking for a First time mover from practice with an ACA Qualification to join a reputable organisation in the property industry. This permanent role is based in Birmingham and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to diverse and exciting projects.

Client Details

This is an established company operating within the property industry. They are a medium-sized organisation known for their focus on delivering high-quality projects and maintaining a professional work environment.

Description

• Assisting the CFO and FD with monthly board packs and commentary on the performance and forecast cash flows.
• Management of individual project/ long term cash flows, which is the key business document used to run the developments.
• Monthly reporting to funders/purchasers and calculating final profits and profit shares
• Preparation and delivery of comprehensive monthly management accounts
• Liaising with auditors
• Assisting with corporation tax computations and compliance (including Payments on Account)
• Processing VAT returns

Profile

A successful Project Accountant should have:

• A recognised ACA qualification (preferred)
• Experience in financial reporting and project accounting.
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.
• Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A professional accounting qualification or equivalent.
