An educational institution in Abingdon is seeking a motivated Progress Coach to support students in the Media & Games study programmes. This role involves monitoring student progress, conducting one-on-one reviews, and fostering personal development. Applicants should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Progress Coach to join our Creative Industries department to support students on our full-time Media & Games study programmes.
Based at Abingdon & Witney College, you will play a key role in helping learners track and monitor their progress throughout their course. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people.
Working closely with teaching staff, you will support students in achieving their qualifications and developing key employability and life skills. A core part of the role is to ensure successful progression, whether that's to higher-level courses, apprenticeships, higher education, or employment. As such, strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Salary: £27,166 - £27,820 per annum (Pro rata)
Working hours: 30 hours per week
Working pattern: Monday to Thursday 7.5 hours
Weeks per annum: 52 weeks
Location: Abingdon Campus
Contract: Permanent
