A regional healthcare provider in Basildon is seeking a Programme Manager to lead transformation projects across three hospital sites. You will use your programme management and improvement expertise to enhance care services. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential as you collaborate with a diverse team to drive change and improve the quality of services. This role requires flexibility and the ability to work with complex datasets to inform major decisions.
A new opportunity has opened for a talented individual to join the Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust Transformation Team as a Programme Manager. If you are looking for an opportunity to use your project and improvement experience to really make a difference to the care and services we provide to our local population in Essex, then we would love to hear from you. We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic individual who has a passion for improvement and change management, able to build strong relationships and enthuse staff at all levels to participate in change. You will also act as a champion and promote the use of improvement science across the organisation as a way of improving the safety and quality of the services we deliver.
You will work on specific projects and programmes, sometimes alone or with other members of the Improvement team depending on complexity.
Working with teams throughout the lifecycle of projects/programmes to ensure that there are clear aims, key metrics identified and measured, adequate benefits tracking and realisation in place.
Be key in ensuring that detailed implementation plans are in place and managed, risks identified and mitigated and that business cases are completed, where required. It is also crucial that the postholder is used to using and analysing complex datasets to inform decision making on ideas such as service model design and sustainable staffing models as well as identifying the root causes to the problems being addressed.
The Trust has three acute hospital sites in Essex (Basildon, Broomfield and Southend). The postholder will be expected to work flexibly across all three sites, with a main base specified for routine duties. The role involves collaboration across services and engagement with digital services, procurement, clinical and non-clinical staff, senior managers, suppliers, other trusts and the wider Mid and South Essex system. Our ambition is to deliver excellent local and specialist services, improve health and well-being, and provide opportunities for staff development and career growth.
