CBSbutler is seeking an experienced Programme Manager - Linux to lead the design, build and launch of an enterprise LinuxONE-based service. You will coordinate mainframe, Linux, networking, storage, security and service management teams to deliver a secure, production-ready infrastructure in a multi-disciplinary setting.

The role is hybrid in Sheffield (3 days on site) on a 12-month contract, paying £450 per day inside IR35, with BPSS eligibility and a focus on resilience and steady production

Competenze

• IBM LinuxONE / IBM Z, including LPARs, IFL capacity and virtualisation.
• Enterprise RHEL infrastructure and service management.
• Infrastructure programme/project delivery across multiple technical teams.
• Service introduction, operational readiness and production go-live.
• Managing delivery plans, risks, dependencies, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Establishing support models, SLAs, disaster recovery and service catalogues.
• Banking or financial sector experience is desirable.

I'm looking for an experienced Programme Manager - Linux to lead the design, build and launch of an enterprise RHEL server service running on IBM LinuxONE.

Key experience required

• IBM LinuxONE / IBM Z, including LPARs, IFL capacity and virtualisation.
• Enterprise RHEL infrastructure and service management.
• Infrastructure programme/project delivery across multiple technical teams.
• Service introduction, operational readiness and production go-live.
• Managing delivery plans, risks, dependencies, suppliers and stakeholders.
