About the Role

University Centre Leeds are looking for a Programme Manager to lead, develop and deliver our LLB, Access to Law, and CILEX programmes at University Centre Leeds. We’re looking for someone with experience in curriculum development and team leadership within a College or Higher Education setting, who’s ready to help drive our provision forward.

Our Law department is known for its welcoming, student-centred approach. We combine strong academic foundations with practical legal and criminal justice skills, creating programmes that build confidence and prepare students for careers in law, public service, and beyond.

What You Will Do
  • Manage activities and strategies to ensure the high retention, achievement, success and attendance rates for identified courses are reached.
  • Deliver and assess essential knowledge and understanding to learners.
  • Manage the planning, preparation and development of schemes of work, lesson plans, teaching and learning resources and assessment plans.
  • Manage the process of creation of individual SMART learning targets linked to learner study programme / course to ensure groups of learners are on track to achieve their potential.
  • Manage the recording of student progress and to ensure that individual and group learner targets are being met.
About You
  • Extensive experience, knowledge and skills to enable delivery of a range of levels across the curriculum, which demonstrates active learning and differentiated teaching styles.
  • Experience of positively managing student and group progression, advice and guidance in a Higher or Further Education setting, with positive outcomes.
  • Experience of supervising / managing staff to ensure high performance.
  • Substantial experience of undertaking internal verification and moderation activities.
  • Proven commitment to continuous professional development.
