Job summary

Copello is seeking a Programme Manager to oversee multiple defence programmes in Portsmouth, on-site, with a salary in the £65,000-£75,000 range and a competitive package.

You will coordinate with engineering teams, Project Managers and customers to ensure programmes are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Due to the nature of the programme, eligibility for UK Security Clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Proven programme management experience within defence or complex engineering.
• Experience leading multiple technical projects simultaneously.
• Strong customer, stakeholder and leadership skills.
• Experience managing budgets and delivery performance.
• Excellent planning and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting Project Managers and delivery teams
• Managing programme plans, schedules, risks, dependencies and milestones
• Building strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders
• Strong experience overseeing programme finances, including cost forecasting, budgeting and financial performance
• Supporting bids, proposals and new business activity
• Managing resource requirements and delivery priorities
• Providing programme updates to senior stakeholders
