Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme Manager (Compliance) within the Capital Projects Team. The Programme Manager (Compliance) will be responsible for the successful day to day management of all programme governance arrangements and the interface between the Programme and hospitals Estates Team. Working under the direction of the Programme Director, you will ensure project governance systems are in place and ensure all project processes are followed, establish and oversee efficient project administrative systems aligning with all Trust policies and procedures so that we can deliver a compliant and professional project delivery service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily management of programme governance arrangements and act as interface between the programme and the hospital Estates Team.
  • Ensure project governance systems and all project processes are followed, and establish and oversee efficient project administrative systems in line with Trust policies and procedures.
  • Support the Design Teams with Requests for Information and maintain a close working relationship with the Hospital Impact Project Manager.
  • Supervise internal and external advisers and specialists as required.
  • Exercise delegated budget control of specific capital budgets, which may be multi‑million pound projects over several years.
  • Develop annual capital plans and provide monthly reporting on actual spend and full‑year forecasts in collaboration with the Capital Finance Team.
  • Hold overall responsibility for Project and Programme risks across the allocated portfolio.
  • Develop new schemes from feasibility stage through to business plan, business case approval, detailed design, construction phase and handover to end users.
  • Manage compliance across the entire programme, working closely with various programme team members (both internal and external).
