A leading subsea technology company in the UK seeks an experienced Deputy Build Programme Manager to oversee the SSBN Dreadnought Programme. The role involves managing project delivery, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring performance through inspections. Applicants should have significant project management experience, a degree or equivalent, and excellent communication skills. Hybrid working is available, with around 60% of time spent in the office.
The primary responsibility of the Dreadnought Alliance is the development and delivery of the SSBN Dreadnought Programme. The Build Teams, under the direction of the Alliance Programme Director, are broken down into boat‑focused teams with specific responsibilities for managing all on‑contract elements for the delivery of the Boats into service. Each Boat Team is headed by a Build Programme Manager (BPM). This Deputy BPM position is responsible for the management of the team and is empowered to act on behalf of the BPM via a formal delegation, including cost and schedule accountability.
