Job summary

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Business & Transformation Manager to lead high priority, complex programmes and drive delivery across our transformation plan. The Senior Business & Transformation Manager will lead on high priority, complex programmes. You will focus on schemes that have been agreed as cross-organisational priorities, overseen by Trust Executive and central to our transformation plan.

Main duties of the job

This role will focus on a number of schemes to support these aims. These may include patient self-management, patient initiated follow up, bed consolidation, CAMHs redesign and integration across mental health service, older adults and physical/ mental health services.

You will ensure robust and effective change management processes are delivered and be responsible for the day to day programme management across the whole cycle.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Project Management
• To ensure service redesign projects are undertaken are planned and delivered using best practice processes and assurance discipline.
• To apply and demonstrate the value of utilising a structured project management approach tailored to the local context and project.
• To ensure that all projects are supported to develop project and programme plans, business cases and project and programme documentation as required.
• To ensure all projects have clear and measurable benefits defined and monitored throughout.
• To assist in setting agreed timescales for main workstreams, key milestones to be achieved and contingency plans for areas requiring further work, consultation or negotiation for all projects undertaken.
• To have responsibility for establishing the project structures, e.g. Project Boards, and Task & Finish Groups.
• To facilitate and/or support flexible approaches to the delivery of project objectives, working with individual and large groups of staff, e.g. workshops, focus groups.
• To report on the progress of all projects to the appropriate management teams, project boards and executive board. To ensure that all project milestones and targets are monitored and project slippage is highlighted, and robust mitigating action planned.
• To have responsibility for the governance of projects, ensuring that management arrangements are robust, reports are professionally presented, accurate, impact assessed and that any concerns are escalated to an appropriate level
