Client: FTSE 100 Pharmaceuticals

Location: Hybrid working / 2 days per week in London

Duration: 6 months

Exciting Opportunity: Programme Manager - Resource Planning (Pharmaceutical R&D)

Join a leading, global Pharmaceutical organisation in an exciting Programme Manager role that sits at the heart of Research & Development operations. This is a unique opportunity to reshape and strengthen Resource Planning for Marketed Products, driving efficiency, accuracy, and governance across a critical function.

Responsibilities
  • Redefine and realign the Resource Planning framework to ensure data integrity and operational excellence.
  • Streamline processes and enhance governance to enable smarter, faster decision‑making.
  • Collaborate closely with diverse stakeholders across the organisation to ensure alignment and shared outcomes.
  • Lead initiatives to improve data quality and system robustness, ensuring seamless information flow across R&D teams.
Requirements
  • 5–7 years’ Programme Management experience within a pharmaceuticals environment.
  • Marketed Resource Planning background.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and engagement ability.
  • Strong process improvement experience.
  • Advantageous to have project management certifications (e.g. Prince 2 or PMP).
  • Prior experience in Planisware or Effort Tracking would be a plus.
