A leading healthcare provider in the UK seeks a Programme Lead for the Postgraduate Diploma in Evidence-Based Psychological Therapies for Children and Young People. This role involves coordinating programme delivery, supervising trainees, and ensuring the quality of systemic training. Candidates are required to have extensive experience in mental health settings and relevant qualifications in psychotherapy. The position offers a salary range of £64,455 to £74,896 per annum, pro rata.
We are delighted to be seeking a Programme Lead for the Postgraduate Diploma in Evidence-Based Psychological Therapies for Children and Young People, Systemic Family Practice Pathway programme.
The ideal candidate will be able to lead and coordinate the delivery, development and evaluation of the programme and act as a lecturer and tutor on the programme.
The Psychological Therapies Training Centre was established in 2000 to run a PG Dip in CBT in partnership with the University of Manchester. We have since expanded our portfolio to include more than 20 programmes/pathways in evidence based psychological therapies training across a broad range of therapeutic modalities, mostly at postgraduate level. We aim to improve Access to Psychological Therapies across Adult and Children & Young Peoples' services, and now employ over 90 staff, most of them also in current clinical practice, and train in excess of 400 students per year.
Operationally lead and coordinate the PG Dip in Evidence Based Psychological Therapies for Children and Young People, Systemic Family Practice pathway, Conduct and Depression pathway and Eating Disorders pathway.
Lead on course recruitment of trainees including screening of applications, interviewing and selection.
Act as HEI group supervisor as required
Deliver line management and supervision to other staff engaged in the delivery and evaluation of the programme.
Liaise with colleagues for the delivery of joint teaching workshops
