Job summary

Oxford Brookes University is appointing a Programme Director to provide high-level academic leadership and quality oversight across our collaborative partnership campuses with Global Banking School (GBS).

Delivering widening participation programmes in Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham and London, this role will own on-site academic standards and student experience while fostering collaborative governance with GBS and central Oxford Brookes directorates.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Health and Social Care, Business Entrepreneurship, or cognate discipline.
• Teaching qualification for Higher Education.
• Proven HE programme leadership, change management, and staff leadership experience.
• Knowledge of HE quality processes and OfS registration standards.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills across organisations.
• Ability to design curricula for widening participation students.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level academic leadership and quality oversight.
• Lead on-site standards, student experience, and governance.
• Foster collaboration with GBS leadership and central Oxford Brookes directorates.
• Develop teaching excellence and curricular innovations.
