Programme Director roles have two salary scale points. All candidates start at the introductory point unless specific criteria are met. Progression to the higher point is possible after completing one full academic year in the role, subject to approval. Internal applicants may be eligible but should seek clarification.
You will be highly organised, creative, and capable of planning and delivering engaging, innovative lessons. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to assess, track and respond to student progress, ensuring every learner develops the skills they need to succeed.
You will be passionate about shaping students' future, providing academic leadership, guiding curriculum delivery, and ensuring all programmes meet accreditation requirements. Teaching and vocational experience are essential, and strong leadership skills will be a real advantage. This role is an excellent step for a proven teacher or lecturer looking to progress, as you will oversee curriculum provision from the outset, build positive relationships with key stakeholders, and continue delivering high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment.
