The Centre for Climate Repair (CCR), hosted within the Department of Applied Mathematics & Theoretical Physics (DAMTP) at the University of Cambridge, seeks a Programme Coordinator to support the delivery of CCR's research programmes. You will coordinate meetings, events and assist with programme activities to ensure deadlines are met.
Around 50% of the role will support CCR's Communications team, helping to promote research, engage stakeholders and raise CCR’s visibility across audiences.
The Centre for Climate Repair (CCR), hosted within the Department of Applied Mathematics & Theoretical Physics (DAMTP), is a multidisciplinary research centre focused on addressing climate change through research in three key areas: emissions reduction, greenhouse gas removal, and Arctic refreezing/climate interventions. The Centre develops and oversees interdisciplinary research programmes, securing funding and supporting their successful delivery.
We are seeking an organised, proactive and collaborative Programme Coordinator to support the delivery of CCR's research programmes. Working closely with the Senior Programme Coordinator, Project Leads and colleagues across the Centre, you will help coordinate a diverse portfolio of research activity and ensure projects are delivered effectively and to deadline.
Your responsibilities will include coordinating meetings and events, supporting grant reporting, assisting with programme activities, and building effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across the Centre.
Around 50% of the role will support CCR's Communications team, under the supervision of the Communications Coordinator. You will contribute to the Centre's communications and engagement activities, helping to promote its research, programmes and impact and reach a wide range of audiences.
