Job summary

Capgemini Invent is seeking a Consultant for Programme and Change Acceleration to drive successful client transformations across industries. You will support delivery, design PMOs, manage risks and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure high quality outputs.

You will contribute to change management initiatives, develop governance structures, and engage stakeholders to realise business benefits while working in a flexible, hybrid environment across UK offices.

Qualifications

• Proven track record supporting delivery of complex transformation initiatives across multiple industries, with expertise in programme and governance, stakeholder management and risk management.
• Experience in designing and executing change management strategies, leveraging tailored communications, delivering and facilitating training, and KPI tracking to drive adoption and realise business benefits across complex scenarios.
• Ability to operate within a matrixed organisation and support peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of project workstreams by taking ownership of defined tasks and producing high‑quality outputs.
• Identify and escalate risks to project leads and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Design, establish and enhance PMOs by supporting planning, governance, risk management and documentation.
• Contribute to business development activities such as proposals, RFPs and client events.
• Support change functions with impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, process maps and training plans.

P&CA houses Capgemini Invent’s transformation programme delivery and change experts.YOUR ROLEAs a Consultant in Programme and Change Acceleration, you will contribute to the successful delivery of complex client transformation initiatives, supporting clients across multiple sectors to implement change effectively and achieve lasting impact.As a Consultant you will play a key role in:Supporting the delivery of a project workstream by taking ownership of defined tasks and developing high quality outputs and collaborating with wider team members.Identifying and escalate risks to project leads in a timely manner, while developing and implementing effective mitigation strategies.Design, establish and enhance Programme/Project Management Offices (PMOs) by supporting planning, governance, risk management, and maintaining high quality project documentation.Supporting change functions in large scale client transformation by producing a full range of business change deliverables (e.g., impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, process maps, hypercare governance, communication & training plans) for a client with minimum guidance.As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:Business Development – Contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.Internal contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.Learning & development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.YOUR PROFILEProven track record supporting delivery of complex transformation initiatives across multiple industries, with expertise in programme and governance, stakeholder management and risk management. AND/ORProven track record supporting delivery of successful change management initiatives across various industries. Experience in designing and executing change management strategies, leveraging tailored communications, delivering and facilitating training, and KPI tracking to drive adoption and realise business benefits across complex scenarios.Experience operating within a project workstream to deliver defined outputs, work as part of high performing teams with proven ability to work under pressure.Expertise of P3M AND/OR Change Management delivery approaches and methodologies.Desirable skills and/or experience:Hold relevant P3M qualificationsMSP, MoP, and/or P3O from AxelosPMQ, PPQ and/or ChPP from APMPMP and/or PgMP from PMIPROSCI or APMG qualificationsPRINCE2 Practitioner or agile equivalentsProven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to support peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background.Experience of proposition building and delivery.Already hold or, willing and eligible to obtain (within 6 months), UK security vetting status of Security Check (SC).WHAT YOU’LL LOVE ABOUT WORKING HERE?The Programme and Change Acceleration team is at the heart of the transformational consultancy services Capgemini Invent deliver for our clients.
