Aviva is seeking a Programme Analyst to act as the operational anchor of its AI transformation, delivering core programme reporting and governance materials. You will surface insights, track progress, and drive evidence-based decision making across multiple teams and stakeholders.
You’ll build dashboards, maintain the integrated plan, and monitor benefits, costs and value, helping leaders manage risks and dependencies while supporting timely AI deployment at scale.
Location: Birmingham, Bristol, Eastleigh, Glasgow, Leatherhead, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Norwich, Perth, Sheffield, Worthing, York
Salary: from £45,000 + bonus + excellent benefits
Aviva's Chief AI Office sits at the centre of an enterprise-wide transformation spanning markets, functions and customer journeys. It connects strategy with delivery, adoption and governance, helping the business apply AI faster, more safely and with clearer evidence of value. You'll join while the function is taking shape, helping establish how Aviva moves from individual AI opportunities to responsible, measurable change at scale.
As a Programme Analyst, you’ll be the operational anchor of Aviva’s transformation, acting as the glue across teams to track progress, surface key insights and remove blockers. Your day-to-day will be rooted in delivering core programme reporting and robust project governance, turning complex delivery data into crystal-clear executive dashboards and reliable benefits tracking. Working closely with the Head of AI Programme Delivery, Domain Leads, Finance, CIO and the wider Chief AI Office, you’ll champion a culture of identifying and mitigating risks, providing the rigorous decision support needed to back our mission with traceable evidence.
AI is already making a difference across Aviva through areas such as claims summarisation, medical underwriting, customer service and fraud detection. The Chief AI Office is creating a reliable enterprise view of the investment, delivery, benefits, dependencies and risk behind that activity.
Across a business serving more than 25 million customers globally, your analysis will help leaders prioritise attention, test confidence in benefits and intervene where delivery, dependencies or evidence are off track.
