As an Associate Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading both the delivery of work and the development of new opportunities for KPMG, maintaining insights and perspectives on how our markets are changing and how our capabilities align. You will own many critical relationships and operate as a trusted advisor to senior clients, helping to shape solutions, inform decisions and drive implementation.
Responsibilities
- Leading clients in the design and delivery of solutions that are end user and outcome focused.
- Lead a team of consultants producing high quality outputs, with a focus on the outcomes required by the client.
- Inspire teams through managing, coaching, mentoring and motivating your colleagues.
- Foster an inclusive, diverse and flexible environment where everyone can thrive.
- Identify opportunities to collaborate across KPMG's broader service lines to design integrated, client‑tailored solutions.
- Lead bids, proposals and wider business development activities.
- Operate within internal governance frameworks to ensure compliance and quality assurance.
- Monitor emerging trends and industry developments, using insights to shape practical recommendations and develop thought leadership.
- Act as a role model for an inclusive, collaborative culture aligned with KPMG's values.
Qualifications
- Experience leading and delivering complex infrastructure projects or programmes, either in consulting or industry.
- Strong track record in project‑based delivery, leading teams across the sectors mentioned above.
- Strong understanding and practical application of project, programme and portfolio management (P3M) principles.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines.
- Evidence of high performance and career progression.
- Experience in developing new opportunities and winning work through trusted client relationships and leading bids.
- Confident communicator, able to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency with key project tools (e.g. MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Oracle, P6, PowerBI) and knowledge of other proprietary technologies welcome.
