An established child welfare agency in Greater London is seeking a Foster Care Supervisor to lead a team focused on child safety and family support. This role involves supervision of specialists, conducting staff meetings, and collaborating with partners. Candidates must hold a Master’s in Social Work and have social services experience, with a strong preference for child welfare. Bilingual English and Spanish is required. The position offers a salary range of $69,000-$73,000 and includes comprehensive benefits with a hybrid work schedule.
Brightpoint invites you to join our team of mission-driven staff who share a common vision: an equitable world where all children and families thrive in strong communities. As a leader in the human services sector for 140 years, we aim to advance the well-being of children by investing in families and strengthening communities through data-informed, collaborative, and preventative solutions.
The Foster Care Supervisor is a critical member of both the region’s child welfare team, as well as the agency’s broader leadership team, working collaboratively within and across programs to ensure a relentless focus on keeping children safe and supporting families, consistent with our agency's Blueprint for Impact, which includes replacing what we currently think of as child welfare services with what we know to be child, family, and community well-being solutions. Our Foster Care Programs work collaboratively with families who have an indicated report of abuse or neglect to work towards a safe reunification or an alternative permanency plan to ensure the wellbeing of every child. As the Program Supervisor, you will provide reflective supervision to Foster Care Specialists, Advanced Specialists and Lead Specialists, and be a vocal advocate for continuous program evaluation and improvement, all with the goal of helping children and families thrive. As a supervisor you will also provide support and back-up to members of your team when needed and collaborate with internal and external partners, including child welfare, clinical staff and the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS).
