Overview

Our client is looking for a Plasma/Profile Burner, ideally with CNC experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate profile burning equipment to cut metal parts as per engineering drawings and specifications.
• Operate the automated CNC production line incorporating the Blaster/drill/saw/cope.
• Assemble, weld, and fabricate metal parts using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Perform grinding tasks to finish edges and surfaces of cut materials.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of tools and equipment, reporting any issues or maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a plasma/profiling burner or running a CNC process line
• Ideally have structural steel experience
• Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and other machinery relevant to metal fabrication.
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Hours of Operation

• Monday to Thursday - 07:00 - 16:30
• Friday - 07:00 - 13:00
