Job summary

Imperial College London seeks an Associate Professor or Professor in Medical Statistics and Innovative Trial Methodology based in the Imperial Clinical Trials Unit (ICTU) within the School of Public Health, with key collaborations across SPH, the College, and national/international partners from academia and industry.

You will lead research on clinical trials and new experimental medicine themes, and contribute to postgraduate and undergraduate teaching in the School of Public Health.

Qualifications

• PhD in Statistics or Mathematics or related field.
• National/international reputation in innovative clinical trials methodology.
• Track record of attracting research funding.
• Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead a new programme of research in early phase and innovative clinical trials.
• Head up an experimental medicine portfolio and ICTU research section.
• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses and supervise students.
• Collaborate across SPH and College with national and international partners.
