Job summary

G2 Legal Limited is recruiting a Senior Associate for its Manchester office to lead professional indemnity matters within a prestigious national law firm, hybrid in-office structure. You will manage high-value disputes and provide strategic support on insurer and professional clients.

The role offers substantial client exposure, mentorship of junior lawyers, and involvement in business development to grow a thriving PI team in a top-tier practice.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with strong experience in professional indemnity and/or commercial litigation.
• Proven ability to manage complex, high-value disputes.
• Commercially minded with excellent analytical, drafting and communication skills.
• Strong client relationship skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a successful team.
• Experience supervising junior lawyers or an interest in developing others.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of professional indemnity matters while supporting Partners on technically challenging and high-value disputes.
• Provide excellent client exposure and build relationships with leading insurer clients.
• Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to business development within the team.
• Support the continued growth of the Professional Indemnity practice and collaborate on strategic initiatives.

Title: Professional Indemnity Senior Associate

Location: Manchester City Centre (Hybrid)

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Associate to join the Manchester office of a prestigious national law firm with a highly regarded Professional Indemnity practice.

Acting for major insurers, MGAs and a broad range of professionals including solicitors, barristers, accountants, insurance brokers and construction professionals, you'll handle a varied caseload of complex, high-value professional negligence claims while working alongside recognised experts in the field.

The Role

You will manage your own caseload of professional indemnity matters while supporting Partners on technically challenging and high-value disputes. The role offers excellent client exposure, the opportunity to build long-term relationships with leading insurer clients and involvement in strategically important litigation.

You'll also play a key role in mentoring junior lawyers, contributing to business development initiatives and supporting the continued growth of a thriving Professional Indemnity team.

About You
