Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a proactive Productivity Team member to lead the implementation of multiple productivity projects across sites. You will ensure smooth transitions, coordinate with site teams, and keep stakeholders informed through clear communication plans.

Ideal candidates will have strong retail/logistics experience, excellent presentation and influencing skills, and a solid command of MS Office to analyse and report progress and risks effectively.

Qualifications

• Significant retail or Logistics experience.
• Strong understanding of retail or Logistics and site operations.
• Ability to manage the implementation of multiple projects across multiple sites.
• Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Good understanding of financial, payroll and commercial impact.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).

Responsibilities

• Defining the implementation strategy for productivity improvements to avoid customer journey impact.
• Producing site communications plans understood by all stakeholders.
• Aligning implementation schedules to minimise site disruption.
• Building relationships with Senior Managers while implementing initiatives.
• Updating progress tracking reports and communicating progress to senior stakeholders.
• Monitoring, identifying, and addressing issues or risks to delivery.
• Creating an implementation plan and delivering benefits on time and cost targets.
• Gaining approval from productivity managers for briefs, training plans, and success criteria.
• Contributing to Productivity Planning Sessions to support targets.

This role is fast-paced, and you'll be at the heart of decision-making, using data and influence to make improvement and change. The role is there to manage the introduction, day-to-day feedback, and resolve any immediate issues related to each project.

As a member of our team, you will take ownership for the successful implementation of all productivity projects, with a focus on ensuring a smooth transition into our sites. You\'ll be responsible for:

• Defining the implementation strategy for all productivity improvements to ensure the customer journey is not impacted.
• Producing timely, effective, and clear site communications plans that can be understood by all stakeholders.
• Ensuring alignment of implementation schedules to minimise the impact on sites.
• Building strong relationships and engagement with Senior Managers while implementing initiatives.
• Updating progress tracking reports and communicating progress to senior stakeholders.
• Monitoring, identifying, and actioning issues or risks to project delivery.
• Creating an implementation plan and delivering benefits to agreed time and costs.
• Gaining approval from productivity managers for all implementation briefs, training plans, and \'what good looks like\' documents.
• Contributing to Productivity Planning Sessions to support productivity managers in hitting their targets.
