Job summary

You’ll join Myton Food Group, part of Morrisons, as a Manufacturing Key Operative in a busy site. You’ll handle inventory, software and warehouse tasks to ensure deliveries are recorded accurately and products are in the right location with on-time distribution to customers.

You’ll be trained across tasks and supported to move and manage stock using a forklift, in a warehouse that's dusty and noisy with varied temperatures. Flexibility and physical endurance are essential.

Qualifications

• May have previous manufacturing and food handling experience (training will be provided if not)
• Would enjoy working in a fast paced physical manufacturing environment distributing quality, food safe products for customers
• Can use trained skills to support with moving and manage stock using a forklift truck if required
• Feels comfortable working in a warehouse environment which can be dusty and noisy, with varied temperatures
• Have the ability to perform a variety of physical activities such as lifting, bending, walking, pushing, pulling and stretching

Responsibilities

• Completing inventory, software and warehouse functions to ensure deliveries are documented
• Moving and managing stock using a forklift truck if required
• Completing related administration tasks and maintaining a good working relationship between Manufacturing and Logistics
