Job summary

Gates is seeking ambitious individuals to join our Dumfries facility as Production & Warehouse Operators. This full-time role supports manufacturing and warehousing, reporting to the Shift Coordinators and Production Manager, and following Standard Working Practices to meet daily targets.

You will operate equipment, maintain a clean work area, log production records, and report hazards. We value safety, teamwork, accuracy, and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment or shift work is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong manual dexterity and numeracy skills.
• A collaborative mindset with a focus on safety and maintaining a clean workspace

Responsibilities

• Operating equipment and processes per Standard Working Practices and Manufacturing Operating Procedures.
• Keeping work areas clean and organised throughout and at the end of shifts.
• Accurately updating Hourly Production records.
• Reporting hazardous practices, equipment, or near-miss incidents.
• Meeting quality and productivity targets as part of a team.

What to Expect

• We are looking for ambitious, forward‑thinking individuals to join our team. Working full‑time from our Dumfries facility on various shift patterns. We are offering opportunities for both temporary and permanent Production & Warehouse Operator roles, £850 hiring bonus may apply (subject to criteria) . In this position, you will report to the Shift Coordinators and Production Manager, supporting the manufacturing and warehousing of quality products. You will work in line with Standard Working Practices and contribute to meeting daily production targets.
