Job summary

A leading multi-national pharma firm in Milton Keynes is seeking a Production Technician - Packaging. In this role, you will be responsible for printing and preparing production packaging, packing products, and maintaining documentation. Ideal candidates will have GCSEs in Maths and English, experience in a cGMP environment, and strong attention to detail. This is an initial 12-month on-site contract. Competitive pay rate of up to £17.08 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Experience in cGMP manufacturing, production, packing or warehouse is advantageous.
  • Full UK driving licence is required.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting.

Responsibilities

  • Print, pick, and prepare production packaging.
  • Pack products according to schedule.
  • Set up and use filling and labelling machines.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Support GMP production environments for vaccine products.
  • Keep production areas clean and organized.
  • Contribute to department scheduling.

Job description

PE Global is currently recruiting for a Production Technician - Packaging for a leading multi-national Pharma client based in Milton Keynes.

This is an initial 12 months contract position working on site. Pay rate is up to £17.08ph.

Responsibilities
  • Printing, picking and preparing production packaging.
  • Packing product in accordance with the schedule.
  • Set up and use of filling and labelling machines, with defined routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Accurate record keeping and documentation.
  • Support in GMP production environments with inspection and preparation of vaccine products.
  • General housekeeping and cleaning of the production areas.
  • Input into department schedule.
Qualifications
  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
  • cGMP manufacturing environment, production, packing or warehouse would be advantageous.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills.
  • A safety-conscious mindset: demonstrating awareness and understanding of Health and Safety practices; a willingness to learn and apply safe working practices; to raise safety concerns and support the department in continuous improvement activities.
  • Ability to communicate with others and to work to deadlines.
  • Good record-keeping.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Excel.
  • Be able to carry out physically demanding work including repetitive lifting of items up to 5kg and occasional lifting of items up to 30kg.
