Overview

Production Technician • We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Production Technician to join a leading engineering company based in Romsey.

Introduction

The main duties of the Production Technician will be to assemble, test, and inspect high-quality electro-mechanical products.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test components into final products using SOPs, drawings, and specialised tools.
  • Conduct stage inspections to ensure products meet the required specifications.
  • Evaluate customer returns and perform necessary repairs to meet specific build standards.
  • Support the engineering and design teams with problem solving production issues and improving workflows.
  • Work to H&S guidelines and maintain a safe and organised work environment following 6S.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
Ideal Experience / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and quality standards. Great communication and teamwork skills. Ability to prioritise tasks and their day to day. Have working knowledge of MRP systems, production control, and electro-mechanical manufacturing techniques. Any experience within the Defence, Marine, Robotic or EV markets would be really beneficial.

Hours

37.5 hrs - Flexi hours and reduced hours on Fridays.

Salary

£28,000 - £35,000
