£30,000 – £32,000 DOE – ME7, Kent

Our client is seeking a skilled Production Technician to join their growing manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, maintaining, and operating production machinery to ensure consistent high‑quality output. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, excellent fault‑finding ability, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set, operate, and maintain production machines to manufacture quality components.
  • Carry out daily and weekly maintenance tasks on machinery.
  • Work closely with production staff to resolve technical and machine‑setting issues.
  • Perform effective fault‑finding and root cause analysis to minimise downtime.
  • Provide constructive feedback to the maintenance team and factory management regarding production concerns.
  • Ensure a safe and tidy working environment at all times.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, demonstrating strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Working Hours
