Job description
Overview

PE Global is currently recruiting for a Production Technician for a leading Animal Health client based in Milton Keynes. This is an initial 11 months contract position based on site Monday to Friday. Pay rate is from £12.21 per hour to £17.08 per hour PAYE depending on experience.

Note: Our client cannot assist with any visa sponsorship and candidates must have the correct visa to live and work in the UK.

Responsibilities
  • Perform activities associated with the manufacture of intermediates (media & antigen) per the production schedule and in accordance with local Regulatory and GMP requirements.
  • Prepare, stage, use and maintain a variety of mechanical or laboratory equipment.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and ensure Good Documentation Practices are followed.
  • Participate in Site Tier Process.
  • Apply MPS tools and methodology to lead and support investigations and CAPA (Corrective and Preventative Action) implementation.
  • Participate in company sponsored training and events.
Education/Experience
  • Prior experience in a production laboratory or manufacturing environment will be beneficial but not essential.
  • Working knowledge of cGMP and inventory control concepts.
  • Working knowledge of fermentation and fermentation vessels.
  • Understanding of aseptic techniques and procedures.
  • Experience in large scale bacterial antigen processing.
  • Completed your further education (A-Level or Equivalent) with an interest in a scientific field.
  • Bachelors or Equivalent in Science/Biology/Biotechnology preferred.
