Job summary

Smurfit Westrock Florence, SC Mill is seeking motivated Production Team Members to support safe, reliable operation in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will follow SOPs, work as part of a team, and contribute to environmental and safety policies.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years of full-time work experience in manufacturing, and be able to read a tape measure, perform basic math, and handle 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends and overtime as

• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math, reading and writing.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and learn manufacturing processes.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, bend and kneel; rotate 12-hour shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.

Production Team Member – Florence, SC

The Smurfit Westrock Florence, SC Mill is looking for candidates that have a strong commitment to working safe, are dependable, are team players, and can learn various tasks to support the operating areas of the mill.

What you need to succeed:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of two (2) years of continuous full-time work experience, preferably in a manufacturing/production environment or post-secondary education.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read a tape measure and have basic math, reading, writing and computer skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, have mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and overtime as required.
• A strong Safety mindset and a commitment to work safely.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend and kneel throughout the entire shift.
• Ability to work in noisy environments, around chemicals, high heat, and be exposed to weather conditions.
