Job summary

Capula is seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to oversee the manufacture, testing and delivery of high-quality control panel solutions for national infrastructure projects in the UK.

This hands-on leadership role requires coordinating resources, mentoring staff, and driving a strong 'right first time' culture while ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading or supervising a production team in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of electrical control panel build or related electrical industry background.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills; capable of managing multiple projects.

We're looking for an experienced Production Team Leader to join our Production team, leading the manufacture, testing and delivery of high-quality control panel solutions for major national infrastructure projects.


About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll oversee multiple project builds simultaneously, ensuring production activities are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.


Working closely with the Production Scheduler, you'll coordinate resources, monitor project milestones and support the successful delivery of complex electrical control panel solutions to our customers.


Key Responsibilities

About You

We're looking for someone who can combine strong people leadership with a practical understanding of manufacturing and electrical assembly environments.


You’ll ideally have:



  • Previous experience leading or supervising a production team.

  • Experience within a manufacturing or production environment.

  • Knowledge of electrical control panel build or a related electrical industry background.

  • An understanding of electrical design principles would be advantageous.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.

  • A proactive, positive approach and the ability to work across multiple projects.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
