Job summary

CLEAN is seeking a Production Team Leader in Slough to manage a team on a 4 on 2 off shift pattern, 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. You will drive KPI delivery with a strong focus on quality and service. Training, HR support, and career progression are available within a supportive laundry services environment.

You will oversee Production Operatives, ensure standards, and work closely with the Production Manager to meet targets. This is a hands-on role requiring practical leadership and team coordination.

Qualifications

• Key requirement is experience managing/supervising a team in a multi-cultural environment.
• Good level of spoken and written English.
• Willingness to deal with staff HR issues.
• Previous experience in a laundry would be beneficial; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead Production Operatives to meet KPIs with focus on quality and customer service.
• Ensure team training and adherence to standards; handle disciplinary/investigation/Return to Work processes.
• Resolve production issues and coordinate with Production Manager to hit shift targets.
• Hands-on role; be prepared to roll up your sleeves.

Our Slough site are excited to be recruiting for a Production Team Leader on a full time, permanent basis. The role operates on a 4 on 2 off shift pattern, including weekends, with the shift running from 6.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.

Your new role

As a Production Team Leader with us, you will take responsibility for managing a number of Production Operatives and ensure KPI’s are delivered, with a focus on quality and customer service. You will ensure all Operatives are trained and that standards are maintained and followed, including dealing with any HR issues such as disciplinaries/investigations/Return to Work interviews. You will also be responsible for resolving all production issues in your area and will work closely with the Production Manager to ensure shift targets are met.

This is a hands‑on role, where you will need to "roll‑up your sleeves" and muck in.

Requirements

What do I need to apply?

The key thing here is your experience in managing/supervising a team in a multi‑cultural environment. This is ESSENTIAL.

You will need a good level of spoken and written English (our business language), be a team player and will ideally have had exposure to dealing with staff HR issues.

Previous experience in a laundry would of course be beneficial, however full training will be provided.

You need to be aged 18 or over and have proof of eligibility to work in the UK, plus have a bank account in your name or as part of a joint account.
