Overview

Are you a Manufacturing/Operations Team Leader, Production Shift Manager, Section Manager, Front Line Manager or a Senior Supervisor?

We are currently working with a well-established, fast paced food manufacturer looking for a strong manager to join the team on a 4on 4off shift.

The role is demanding a strong manager, someone who can take the reins, drive the shift in a positive direction, focus on 1-2-1 and people development. Responsibilities will focus around ensuring H&S standards are met, food quality standards, meeting customer service demands and plant performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the shift to achieve safe, compliant and high-performing operations on a 4on 4off shift pattern.
• Drive the shift in a positive direction, with an emphasis on 1-2-1 development and people development.
• Ensure Health & Safety standards are met and consistently applied.
• Maintain and monitor food quality standards to meet regulatory and customer expectations.
• Ensure customer service demands are understood and met; monitor plant performance metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience within a Senior Supervisor/Shift Manager role within the food industry.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving approach; strong communication skills and team player attitude.
• Understanding of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing principles would be beneficial.
