Job summary

Pitreavie Packaging Ltd in Cumbernauld is seeking a Production Support Operative to assist machine operators and keep production flowing. You will prepare materials, maintain a clean work area and ensure readiness for the next production run.

No prior corrugated packaging experience is required; training will be provided. The role is full-time with hours Mon-Thu 7am-5pm, based at Cumbernauld/Grayshill. This entry-level position welcomes a positive attitude and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual.

• Experience operating powered pedestrian stacker trucks is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare raw material pallets for production.
• Remove pallet wrap, strapping and packaging.
• Keep machine area clean, tidy and organised.
• Empty waste bins and remove scrap material.
• Fit layer pads onto pallets before they enter the robotic palletiser.
• Check the production schedule and ensure materials are ready for the next job.
• Help operators during job changeovers if required.
• Restock consumables and report shortages.
• Work safely and follow company procedures.
• Support other production areas when required.
