Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Security Cleared Onshore professional to manage production support databases with Oracle and PL/SQL expertise. The role emphasizes incident management, RCA, and proactive data validation across Oracle schemas and PostgreSQL where applicable.

You will troubleshoot SQL, optimize queries, and analyze data while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Proficiency with Linux/Windows and CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, and Spinnaker is essential.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of Production Support Estate with Oracle DB knowledge and Postgres knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Day to day focus on Oracle Database knowledge and SQL troubleshooting.
• Handle production support: incident, problem and change management; RCA; monitoring and ticket resolution.
• SQL skills: performance analysis, data fixes, data reconciliation, stored procedures.
• ASG Skills: Linux/Windows, CI/CD - GitLab, Jenkins, Spinnaker.

Security Cleared Onshore who will be responsible for managing production support database having Oracle, PL/SQL knowledge and Unix scripting.

Your responsibilities:

Day to day responsibility will be:

Oracle Database Knowledge

• Good understanding of Oracle Database concepts
• Ability to write and troubleshoot SQL queries
• Joins, subqueries, views, indexes
• Data validation and data analysis
• Understanding of Oracle schemas, tables, and relationships

Production Support

• Incident, Problem, and Change Management
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Monitoring and ticket resolution

SQL Skills

• Query performance analysis
• Data fixes and data reconciliation
• Stored procedures/packages understanding
• Ability to analyze application issues using database data

ASG Skills

• OS - Linux, Windows
• CI/CD - GitLab, Jenkins, Spinnaker
