We are looking for a Production Supervisor to join us in our mission of delivering quality outdoor products such as log cabins, garden offices, sheds and gazebos designed with care, built to last, and made to make our customers smile!

The Role:

This job is based out of our Newcastle Branch – NE31 1SP and looks to manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the production area, ensuring that all products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.

Role Overview:
  • Supervise and support all production staff to ensure work is completed accurately, safely, and to the required quality standards.
  • Plan, allocate, and monitor daily workloads to ensure production schedules are met efficiently.
  • Ensure all staff have up-to-date training and are competent to carry out their roles safely and effectively.
  • Oversee the safe operation of machinery including moulders, bandsaws, multi-rip saws, cross-cut saws, and mitre saws.
  • Ensure that all finished products meet company and customer quality standards, performing checks and addressing issues as required.
  • Monitor productivity and output levels, ensuring KPI targets are met and resources are utilised effectively.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment in line with health, safety, and environmental procedures.
  • Address staff performance, attendance, and conduct issues in line with company policies, providing coaching and guidance as required.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and basic maintenance of production machinery, liaising with maintenance teams when necessary.
  • Ensure accurate completion of production records, job cards, and any other required documentation.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging safe, efficient, and high‑quality production practices.
  • Undertake any additional duties or projects as directed by management to support operational efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Good understanding of production processes, quality control, and efficiency improvement methods.
  • Excellent organisational and planning abilities, with a focus on achieving deadlines and performance targets.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to promote safe working practices.
  • Competent in monitoring productivity, managing resources, and maintaining accurate records.
What We Offer:
  • Monday – Thursday 07:30-16:30 and Friday 07:30-13:30.
  • Between £29,120 and £35,000 per annum.
  • 30 days holiday including bank holidays.
  • Referral Programme.
