A manufacturing company in Chesterfield is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead and manage the production team, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong manufacturing experience and leadership skills. This role offers a competitive salary starting at £47,093, with bonuses and overtime potential reaching upwards of £52,000 annually, along with various additional benefits.
As a Production Supervisor, you will lead and supervise a production team on your assigned shift, ensuring operational targets are met while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone with strong manufacturing experience, team management skills, and a passion for continuous improvement and coaching.
The ideal candidate for the Production Supervisor role may have some of the following; however, these are desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
Role: Production supervisor
Location: near Ashover - Chesterfield
Salary: £47093 inclusive of shift premium + Bonus and Overtime = £52000 and upwards.
Bonus: From 6 months onwards = up to 10% of salary, up to £300 production bonus per quarter, up to £60 health and safety bonus per quarter and up to £1500 per annum additional bonus.
Overtime rates: x1.5 Mon-Sat and x2 Sunday
Hours: 2 days 2 nights 4 off working a 6-6 pattern, every 7 rotations you have 18 days off. 5 lots of 18days off annually / 90 days off. (x2 1hr breaks when on shift)
Benefits: up to 10% pension contribution, x3 salary death in service, canteen, uniform, bonus.
Structure: supported by assistant team leaders with 9 reports, you will work closely with the Shift Manager.
Environment: Manufacturing - Furnaces/Heavy industry
Commutable from: Darley Dale, Matlock, Ashover, Clay Cross, Chesterfield, Buxton and surrounding areas.
