Job summary

Holt Engineering is seeking a Stores Person to join an engineering client based in Fareham. The role involves supporting the Goods In stores, maintaining organisation and stock accuracy, and handling kit preparation and packing for distribution. Working Monday to Friday with an early finish on Fridays, the position pays £12.71–£13.50 per hour.

Health & safety compliance and data entry are required. Candidate should have manufacturing stores experience (desirable), a UK driving licence

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing stores is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence is desirable.
• Kitting experience is preferred.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• PC literacy with data entry and stock checks experience.
• Ability to read and follow picking and packing instructions.

Responsibilities

• Kit preparing for the production team.
• Packing for distribution to production.
• Managing goods in and receiving goods.
• Organising and maintaining the stores and physical stocks.
• Ensuring parts are stored and issued correctly to avoid damage.
• Following Health & Safety guidelines.
• Inputting data into computers.
• Following instructions for picking & packing.
• Delivery driving customer orders.
