Job summary

Magnera in Aberdare, South Wales is seeking Production Shift Operators to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on role focuses on operating machinery safely, maintaining quality, packing and preparing products, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

You will work a rotating three-shift pattern (07:00–15:00, 15:00–23:00, 23:00–07:00) with a shift allowance and occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience (minimum 2 years preferred).
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Good communication skills.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and follow production plans.
• Good level of English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Operating production machinery and equipment.
• Packing, assembling, bagging and preparing products for storage.
• Monitoring product quality and identifying defects.
• Completing production and performance reporting.
• Supporting line changeovers and production restarts.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Following all health, safety, and quality procedures.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
