Production Shift Manager, Peterborough

Salary: £37,500 per annum + fantastic company benefits

4 days on, 4 days off 0700 - 1900

Are you an experienced leader in a Production environment? Ready to take the next step in your career?

We’re looking for a Shift Manager to join our Production team working 4 on and 4 off. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about leading and developing high-performing teams. You will lead a team of around 40 full time colleagues working on 11 lines to deliver high quality product.

What can you expect working as a Production Shift Manager, Peterborough

  • Lead and manage a production area during night shifts, ensuring targets are achieved.
  • Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, hygiene, and compliance.
  • Oversee raw material usage to maximise yield and minimise waste.
  • Monitor production data to track performance against targets.
  • Escalate maintenance and repair needs for equipment and facilities.
  • Manage and develop team members, including recruitment, training, and performance.
  • Ensure full product and packaging traceability and compliance with technical standards.

About you:

  • Experience of managing a team in a production environment, ideally within the food sector
  • Experience of managing staff including HR requirements, recruitment, performance management and appraisals
  • Experience to working to budgets with accountability for labour costs
