An established and fast‑paced FMCG food manufacturing business in Kent is looking to appoint a Production Shift Manager to lead operations on shift within a high‑volume production environment.

This is a hands‑on leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in a busy, ever‑changing food & drink manufacturing setting and enjoys managing people as much as processes.

The Role

• Lead, motivate, and manage Production Team Members on shift
• Ensure daily production targets, quality standards, and food safety requirements are met
• Drive performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the shift
• Maintain a safe, compliant, and well‑organised production environment
• Act as the senior point of contact on shift, escalating issues where required

About You

Essential :

• Proven experience as a Shift Manager / Production Manager within Food & Drink or FMCG manufacturing
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume production environment
• Strong people management skills with a confident, fair leadership style

Desirable :

• Experience managing HR processes, including absence management, performance issues, and disciplinary procedures
• Able to lead by example and remain calm under pressure
