Job summary

Zest is seeking a Production Shift Manager to lead a shift in a well established, multi-site food manufacturing environment. You will manage the shift, ensure safety and quality standards, and drive performance through KPI targets and development plans.

The role requires 5+ years in a management position with autonomous shift running. Food background preferred (chilled/low risk), with other backgrounds considered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience operating in a management position with decision making.
• Autonomously running a shift in a production environment.
• Food industry background preferred, chilled/low-risk experience ideal.

Responsibilities

Are you a Production Shift Manager, Front Line Manager, Area Manager or Section Manager with experience operating independently and involved in decision making?

We are currently working with a well established, multi-site food manufacturer who are looking for a Shift Manager to join the team on a 4 on 3 off days shift.

You will be responsible for Shift Management of the area, ensuring team performance is upheld, compliance to health and safety, food safety and quality standards. Setting performance targets, KPI metrics and driving personal development plans. Running SIC meetings and identifying areas of cost savings and implementing CI/Lean manufacturing initiatives.

To be successful in this role you will need to have 5+ years' experience operating in a management position, consisting of decision making and autonomously running a shift. A food background is essential, chilled and low risk the preference but other backgrounds can be considered.
