A manufacturing firm in Burton on the Wolds is seeking a Production Scheduler to support daily production deliverables and ensure efficient scheduling. The role involves monitoring key performance indicators and collaborating with project management teams to optimize production schedules. Ideal candidates will have strong analytical skills and experience in project planning. The position is onsite five days a week and offers a dynamic work environment.
Sitting within our BRUSH Transformers business unit , the Production Scheduler is responsible for supporting daily transformer production deliverables, monitoring key performance indicators and driving operational process improvements across the business. The Production Scheduler will assist the Production Scheduling Manager in ensuring the effective scheduling and planning of all manufacturing deliverables, leveraging information from all business functions. Working closely with the Project Management team, the post holder will help develop, communicate, and maintain production schedules, identify critical path activities, and manage risks and opportunities to ensure projects are delivered on time, in full, and within budget. The post holder will also support the integrated operational scheduling process, fostering cross‑functional collaboration and ensuring a balance between operational inputs and outputs to maintain production schedules and drive profitability. In addition, the Production Scheduler will liaise with the Master Scheduler to support efficient project execution and in collaboration with relevant teams, contribute to capacity, production, and resource planning, performance tracking, and, where required, revenue forecasting. This role will be based onsite 5 days per week Monday - Thursday : 7:30am - 4:00pm Friday: 7:30am -12:30pm
