Production Planning Manager

Full time permanent role (Mon‑Fri). Location: Edenbridge – close to station with on‑site parking and electric vehicle charging.

Salary £35,000 per year plus benefits: 24 days holiday, pension scheme, healthcare insurance/cash plan.

About the Role

My client seeks a dedicated, hardworking professional to manage sales orders, planning and production processes to ensure excellent service to customers. The role offers opportunity for progression to Department Manager overseeing office and digital operation.

Duties
  • Oversee daily management of sales orders, planning & production, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and team collaboration.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company regulations.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates.
  • Provide the Business Manager with daily and weekly financial and productivity reports.
  • Manage and develop production schedules to meet customer deadlines efficiently.
  • Determine material, equipment, and labour requirements, ensuring resources are optimised.
  • Order consumables and maintain stock control.
  • Manage and resolve production issues to minimise disruptions.
  • Oversee quality control to ensure product standards are consistently met.
  • Liaise with Account Managers and Sales Teams.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and machine manufacturers as required.
