Overview

Our brand-new client, based in St. Neots, is seeking a Production Planner / Supervisor to join them on a full-time permanent basis working 8am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

As Production Planner / Supervisor, you will be responsible for producing and maintaining the company production plan, working close with other internal departments and teams, managing workflows, providing guidance on production sequencing and methods, risk assessment, providing clear communication on production needs across the business, driving continuous improvement on processes, efficiency and scrappage reduction, monitoring product production, problem solving, ensuring material availability collaboration with supply chain, and ensuring quality control and quality assurance is adhered to across your teams.

Qualifications

To be considered for the role of Production Planner / Supervisor, you will have previous team supervision experience in a production environment, the ability to read and understand CAD designs, ideally experience with Sage MRP or similar and confidence with planning tools and Excel, strong and effective communication skills, and a strong background in sheet metal manufacturing is essential (ideally having worked from shop floor up).
