  • Review incoming orders and provide accurate, achievable delivery dates.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment.
  • Identify potential production bottlenecks and implement solutions.
  • Generate and analyse production reports for performance assessment.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills

Monday - Friday | 09:00am - 17:00pm

Our client is a leading electronics products manufacturer, who are experiencing rapid growth, and value motivated individuals looking to progress their career. They are looking for a Production Planner to assist with their increased workload. This role will be responsible for liaising with multiple departments, ensuring timeframes and customer expectations are met.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain production schedules that align with customer delivery deadlines and internal manufacturing capacity
  • Ensure all products are manufactured and dispatched on time by planning and coordinating production activities effectively
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Design, Purchasing, and Production teams to ensure alignment across departments
  • Review incoming orders and provide accurate, achievable delivery dates
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to support uninterrupted production
  • Identify potential production bottlenecks and implement proactive solutions to maintain workflow efficiency
  • Generate and analyse production reports to assess performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, reducing costs, and improving product quality
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Experience working in a regulated or structured environment
  • Comfort collaborating with technical and administrative teams
  • A background in process improvement
  • The ability to juggle multiple priorities and stay calm under pressure
  • Familiarity with planning or production systems (ERP or similar) is a bonus
